And That's That
Writing The Veggiebox has been lots of fun, but now I'm done.
Lots of things are changing. I'm no longer writing stuff like Light Reading and Three Things About Me. I don't produce articles as the blue pootle. I have an inkling that my writing future lies in a different direction. And I really can't scour one more book for mentions of vegetables. It was a niche market at the best of times.
I'll still pop up on the MNW blog with writing-related news.
And so all that remains to say is thanks for reading. I've left up some of my favourite posts, including the Veggie Books, in case you fancy a trawl through the archives. I wish you lots of love, luck, and happiness. And the occasional interestingly-shaped carrot. Cheerio.

Wow, this is a shock. I do sympathise though - as you know, I just post occasionally on the MNW blog rather than have a blog of my own. You need time for actual writing. A lot of people will miss this blog but good luck with the "different directions".
Aliya, I know the feeling -I'm still struggling with whether to recommence writing my own blog. But I hope that signing off the Veggiebox gives you lots more time for your writing. A x

Sad to see you go, but will you really be leaving the blogosphere/twittersphere entirely? (It seems difficult to imagine you without an on-line social presence).
Conversely I've started blogging again, but on a limited basis, trying to concentrate more on what's going on with the writing than anything else.
I hope the different directions will still keep you in touch with those that still travel these same roads - you're a traveller that we will really miss if that's not so.

(PS: Word Verification is "solus ympred" sounds like Latin for "doing it alone". Guess we all have to do this from time to time to get the words on the page...)

I've read your blog silently mainly because I'm a drunk who finds typing effort. I'll miss it but I hope more than anything you keep writing. But only selfishly because I like to read it. I have to be honest any reader is only interested in there reading.
