Accountants have all the fun
I've just come over all Tim Stretton for the work in progress and had some 'fun' with spreadsheets. With a little help from Wikipedia and the Met Office, I've written an annual temperature scale for the next 150 years to add to my detailed seventy six year time-line.

So now I'm identified with the 'spreadsheet school' of novel planning?
This is really sad, but I am actually really looking forward to the point where I can open up a new spreadsheet for Louis XIV, put the years down one axis and the characters on another, and work out who is what age for every year between 1630 and 1715. Hadn't thought about doing the weather, though...
Today's verification word, appropriately, is "crazes"...
Tim, I thought you founded it? I will be disappointed if you don't have a spreadsheet organising your spreadsheets. Oh, and one about penguins.
The next stage is to produce a macro which writes the damn novel...
When Mr Excel fails, there's always Mexica: http://bit.ly/N5BvE
Tim, have you read If On a Winter's Night a Traveler...? There's a novel-writing computer in there. Anyone have any other examples?
Ummmm...Dan Brown?
A long time since I read "If on a Winter's Night...".
